CAROLINE TANNER

Caroline Tanner is a singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. Her songs lean into soft edges and real feelings, mixing vivid storytelling with a kind of lived-in tenderness that comes with moving, changing, loving, and letting go. She writes the way people talk when they finally trust you. Caroline is a senior at The Gallatin School of Individualized Studies at New York University. Her concentration, Feeling Form, is an investigation into how large-scale narrative form and small-scale, sentence to sentence technique creates the emotional architecture of fiction, song, drama, and memoir. Caroline is working on her senior project-- an an archival album based on the writing of her ninety-three year old grandfather, Frank Tanner.
